Acceptance of Terms
Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Clinicse's website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the 'Platform'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
Updates
Clinicse reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Our Services
Platform Overview
Clinicse is a healthcare aggregator and technology platform. We provide tools to search and book appointments with doctors and hospitals, order prescription and OTC medicines, schedule diagnostic lab tests, request ambulance services, access teleconsultation, and receive health information and wellness content.
Intermediary Role
Clinicse acts as a technology intermediary connecting patients with independent healthcare providers. We are not a medical institution, hospital, or pharmacy. Actual healthcare services are rendered by the independent professionals and facilities listed on our platform.
Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible.
Eligibility & Registration
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Clinicse services. Minors may be registered under a parent or guardian's family account, with the adult assuming full responsibility.
Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it promptly if it changes. Providing false information may result in immediate account termination.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at cc@clinicse.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Medical Disclaimer
Not a Substitute for Professional Care
Content on the Clinicse platform — including health articles, symptom checkers, and AI-powered suggestions — is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
Emergency Situations
In a medical emergency, call 112 (India Emergency Services) immediately. Clinicse's ambulance booking service is a scheduling aid and is not a substitute for emergency services. Do not rely solely on the Platform in life-threatening situations.
Independent Providers
Clinicse does not employ doctors, nurses, or other healthcare professionals. All clinical decisions are made by the independent healthcare providers you engage through our platform. Clinicse is not responsible for the quality of care delivered by those providers.
User Obligations
Permitted Use
You agree to use Clinicse only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not use the Platform to harm others, spread misinformation, impersonate healthcare professionals, or facilitate any illegal activity.
Prohibited Actions
You must not scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract data from the Platform; upload viruses or malicious code; attempt unauthorised access to our systems; post false reviews or misrepresent healthcare providers; or use the Platform to send unsolicited communications.
Accurate Health Information
When providing health information for consultations or orders, you agree to be accurate to the best of your ability. Providing false medical information may endanger your health and is grounds for account termination.
Healthcare Provider Terms
Listing Accuracy
Healthcare providers listed on Clinicse represent that all information — qualifications, registration numbers, availability, and pricing — is accurate and kept up to date. Clinicse reserves the right to verify credentials and delist providers who provide false information.
Independent Contractors
Healthcare providers using the Clinicse platform are independent professionals and not employees, agents, or partners of Clinicse. They are solely responsible for the quality, legality, and appropriateness of the care they provide.
Provider Conduct
Providers agree to adhere to all applicable laws, medical council regulations, and ethical standards. Any violation may result in immediate removal from the platform.
Payments & Refunds
Payment Processing
Payments are processed through RBI-regulated, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay). Clinicse does not store your full card details. All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
Refund Policy
Refunds for cancelled appointments are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Medicine orders may be returned under our Return Policy within 7 days of delivery for eligible products. Diagnostic tests cancelled at least 2 hours before the scheduled slot are fully refundable.
Disputes
For payment disputes, contact our support team within 30 days of the transaction at cc@clinicse.com with your order ID. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
Intellectual Property
Clinicse Content
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, software code, and brand assets — is the exclusive property of Clinicse Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by Indian copyright and trademark law.
Restricted Use
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Clinicse content without prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use of platform features does not grant any intellectual property rights.
User Content
By submitting reviews, feedback, or other content to the Platform, you grant Clinicse a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and adapt that content for service improvement and marketing purposes.
Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Clinicse's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Clinicse in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Excluded Damages
Clinicse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, or medical complications resulting from reliance on Platform content.
Termination
By You
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting cc@clinicse.com. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.
By Clinicse
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will endeavour to notify you unless prohibited.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
Governing Law & Disputes
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bihar, India.
Dispute Resolution
We encourage resolving disputes informally first. Contact us at cc@clinicse.com. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with proceedings conducted in English in Patna, Bihar.
